Birthday Parties at The Sanctuary!
Give them a birthday party they will never forget! Why not celebrate your child’s party with our amazing wildlife and let them share your special day with you?
Birthday Party Package includes entry and a feedbag for our farmyard for $20 per person (minimum of 15 guests per booking). Celebrate in a designated party area within the Sky puppy Marquee where you can enjoy our outdoor playground, waterpark, and mini golf, and take part in our daily activity schedule throughout the Sanctuary.
You can add additional experiences to your Birthday Party Package to enhance your experience, including catering from our onsite cafe,

Party locations available
Sky Puppy Marquee - large undercover space overlooking the playground, with BBQ facilities that you can use at your leisure.
Pond Marquee - a smaller undercover space overlooking the pond.
Dirrawong Conference Room - Book our Dirrawong Conference Room and decorate as you wish, add tables, and seating and indulge in air-conditioning, TV, music and more!
Additional charges apply for Dirrawong Conference Room.

All-day entry to The Sanctuary for guests (ages 2-99 years).
All Keeper Talks and Presentations including Free Flight Birds (12:15pm), Reptile Talk (10:30am and 2:30pm ) and Kangaroo and Emu Feeding (1pm).
Access to our WILD GREENS Mini-golf 9 hole course, Nature Playground and Water Splash Park.
Access to BBQ Areas in the marquee (which is where your party will be reserved, unless you upgrade to our Dirrawong Conference Room).
1 x Feedbag for the farmyard per guest.
Add a single scoop of ice cream for each guest!

Upgrade your party location to the Dirrawong Conference Room which includes chairs and tables, TV with sound system and air-conditioning.

Add a Private Reptile Experience to your party and meet one of our amazing snakes up close! This includes all kids being able to hold the snake and get a photo to remember their experience.

The Sanctuary is a strictly balloon-free space. Balloons, even when disposed of properly, can escape into the environment and pose a serious threat to wildlife. They can be ingested or cause harm if they pop near animals, creating stress and danger. For the safety of all creatures, balloons are not permitted anywhere on Sanctuary grounds.

Please help us reduce our environmental impact by avoiding confetti, glitter, party poppers, and other non-biodegradable decorations or single-use waste items. These products are harmful to wildlife and contribute to unnecessary pollution. We encourage the use of sustainable, reusable, or nature-friendly alternatives.

Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is a licensed venue. We are not a BYO facility. If you'd like to enjoy alcoholic beverages during your visit or event, please pre-book a beverage package with our team. This ensures we maintain a safe, respectful, and family-friendly environment for all guests.

A minimum of 15 people for each birthday package type. The price listed on the website is per person attending.
The age group is open from 2yrs-99yrs. All attendees under 2 years old are free.
A deposit of 25% or $100 secures the booking, whichever is greater.
Balance of payment due on or before the first guests’ arrival.
Many undercover areas are available, but in event of heavy rain deposit can be transferred to another date.
Choice of wildlife for experiences with Keeper’s approval.
Private experience times will be discussed with the host upon arrival.
Food and beverage packages have minimums per order.
Must be booked 3 days in advance. The Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary will attempt to accommodate more urgent bookings but cannot guarantee availability.
Your booking will be confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from us (normally within 48 hours).
Standard cancellation policy applies to all Birthday Party Bookings.
